David Williams | Founder and Managing Director

David has worked in this area for over 25 years and has extensive knowledge of the town and its facilities.  He has served as a councillor on Singleton Shire Council, has been a member of the Northern Agricultural Association where he was president for a five year term, and has been a committed member of Rotary for 21 years.

Through many years of hard work David has moulded together a successful real estate practice catering for the needs of all clients, whether they are investors or homebuyers, buying or selling residential, rural or commercial property, and following through with strata and property management services.

Jo Shoebridge | Company Director and Strata Manager

Jo began working at David M Williams Real Estate in 1986, and in July 2000 she became a partner in the firm. As a Company Director, Jo has brought many new ideas to the company including our expansion of the building to accommodate our growing staff and strata department. Jo also heads the ever-increasing strata management division of the firm. 

Jo holds an extensive range of qualifications, the principal ones being a Real Estate Licence and a Strata Management Agents Licence. Jo is the Licencee in Charge of the company, and she is also a member of both the Real Estate Institute of NSW and the Institute of Strata Title Management.

This expansion of the strata market is very exciting, and we enjoy the challenge of remaining competitive in a growing industry."

Darren Hill | Company Director and Sales Consultant

Darren moved to Singleton from Sydney in 1994, and felt instantly at home with the more relaxed lifestyle in the Hunter Valley. Since becoming a sales consultant and company director at David M. Williams Real Estate, he has enjoyed the experience of developing the sales department into a thriving part of the business. Darren became a director of the company in 2002, and he has made some significant changes to office procedure since his appointment.

Darren possesses a natural affinity with people from all walks of life and has a friendly approach to sales with a focus on personal attention. Darren is dedicated to his job and encourages a close working relationship with his clients so that together their goals may be achieved. He prides himself on his straightforward approach to the real estate industry, utilising his local knowledge and expertise to lend support to and offer qualified advice to all clients.

Trish Pascoe | Commercial and Residential Property Management

Trish joined David M Williams Real Estate in early 2002 to assist us with our fast growing commercial management portfolios in addition to commercial strata. She has introduced many up to date and efficient management systems within the Commercial and Residential Property Management departments. Now also managing the Serviced Furnished Apartments portfolio, Trish is enjoying the varied and interesting work that her role demands

Trish is a fully licensed Real Estate Agent under the Department of Fair Trading NSW and holds a Diploma of Real Estate from the University of Western Sydney. Trish has also completed study in the specific field of Strata Management. Recently Trish has focussed her attentions on updates to the Retail Leases Act, ensuring that the commercial services offered by David M Williams Real Estate are current and compliant.

Trish is well known and respected in Singleton having lived here since 1984. Her daughters Shelley and Carina and their families live in Singleton, keeping Trish close to her five grandchildren.

Trish says, "Gaining experience in Newcastle was great, but I was ecstatic when I was approached by David M Williams Real Estate to return to Singleton and use my skills in the place I call home."

Jenny West | Strata Manager

Jenny commenced her career in strata management in 1987 in Sydney, working as a strata manager for three of the largest real estate companies in NSW. Jenny moved from Sydney to Singleton in 1994 where she worked for a major property group in Newcastle for seven years, further increasing her skills base.

Jenny joined the strata management team at David M Williams Real Estate in September 2002 in a supporting role. This role has become more and more important with the constant expansion of our strata portfolio. She keeps up to date with the latest developments and advancements in strata management through her attendance at various courses in the field.

"I am very happy to be raising my young family in the community-based atmosphere that is found only in country towns like Singleton. I am enjoying the versatility of my position and take a general interest in all other facets of the business and the real estate market."

Alex Bailey | Strata Management

Completing Diplomas in Real Estate and Legal Studies along with Office Management 2003, Alex set her sights high and started her new career with David Williams Real Estate in 2004. Since joining she has completed two further qualifications, her Strata Certificate of Registration and Sales Certificate of Registration, expanding her knowledge of the fields of real estate. Alex is now enjoying her new role as strata manager with its interesting and varied portfolio.

Coming from a local family, her heart belongs to Singleton. She has fantastic local knowledge as well as a great respect for her town. Choosing a career in an agency that is one of the cornerstones of local business, she sees herself setting down roots and growing within the team as time goes on.

Alison Malloy | Strata Administrator

Alison is one of David M Williams Real Estate’s longest serving employees. She began her career as receptionist, but now works in the crucial role of strata administrator.

Alison takes pride in the accuracy and efficiency she displays when dealing with our clients and their administrative needs. Her friendly manner and can-do attitude make her popular with our clients as well as with the staff.

Lindy Harris | Residential Sales

Dynamic, motivated and with a personal ethos which reflects her commitment to both vendors and purchasers, Lindy is a driving force in residential sales. With over 7 years experience in residential sales, Lindy offers a level of expertise, skill and professional care of the highest standard. Lindy firmly believes in building strong and loyal relationships with her clients and this makes entering the marketplace in real estate an exciting place for clients to be.

Christine Leighton | Residential Property Manager

Christine joined David M. Williams Real Estate in 2006 as Residential Property Manager. She has around 25 years of experience in residential property management in Singleton, and has brought to the company many tried-and-tested systems and procedures that she has developed throughout her career.

Christine holds a full Real Estate Licence and attends regular seminars and training programmes through the many industry groups with whom David M. Williams Real Estate holds certifications. She keeps abreast of changes to industry regulations and standards, and applies them to her property management service, deservedly gaining the confidence of landlords through good returns and quality tenants.

A true Singleton local, Christine says “I enjoy being a member of the fine community of Singleton.
